Miserable God is an intriquing proposition. Nietzsche said God is dead, but what about depression? Look at the stuff that happens around the world, it's pretty bad sometimes. It is said that God works in mysterious ways, but how about depression?
I think we should do a psychoanalysis for God. How does God feel about things. You know, it started of well, 7 days and lots of productive work, but after that? You know, not lots of going on, what happened there? It's understandable that you'd suffer from burn out after working so hard, maybe he just didn't take care of it and fell into depression. Is God on meds? I hear the best thing to do is meds combined with therapy. Anyone know about cognitive therapy, I hear lots of good things about it?
Also, as R.D. Laing put it, come into my session and I will distract you from depression. God, what is your favourite ice cream? Chocolate? Interesting. How do you feel about black people? Tell me more about the ice cream, how does it taste like, is there a time in your day when you prefer ice cream over any other time and why is that?
