        I'm a bit confused as well. From what I've heard of Hagee and what I've heard him say, he is somewhat of a solid supporter of Israel.

              And speaking of bigots who profess to have an interest in "compassion and justice" I'd like to see records of Hagee's position on race-based issues during the civil rights movement.

              Did he support or oppose segregation? Did he support or oppose federal enforcement of voting rights? Position on interracial marriage at that time?
              A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

                I think it's sad that someone who professes to be a Christian hates other Christians to such a degree. Just because you label them as 'fundamentalists' doesn't justify your hate for them.

                  I have zero tolerance for bigotry, not hatred for other people. And by the way, the fundamentalists have earned the word "fundamentalist" for themselves through their strict, literal interpretation of the Bible.
