I bet you'd feel just fine if you'd gotten the equivalent of that sum in jewelry.

The cousin saw me and flirted like crazy and dropped his business card in my pocket. He'd written a date which corresponded to a Bank Holiday weekend.

So I called him back and we agreed I'd go to Belgium that weekend, but we kept it secret from the guy I was dating. I spent most of the weekend in a very nice hotel, and when I wasn't having orgiastic sex with my host, I was out and about visiting museums in Antwerp.

On Monday night just as I was heading back to the train station, the guy gives me an envelope full of cash.

It was a very weird feeling. Here I was thinking it was my own free choice and then with a single flourish he makes me feel like a hooker.

I ended up keeping the money. Whatever it was he had wanted, he'd already gotten from me without having to pay a penny. I'm not sure what he would have accomplished handing over money post facto. Certainly the money hadn't been part of my motivation when I went to Belgium.

Dammit, I'm still not sure what to think about that. I know I'm definitely not proud of it.
I call BS. This story is either twisted or made up.

If this was all true, you would have told this before post #31, which was 7 days ago.

AC didn't bang for money in fact, she banged and got money which is different. That's not to say what she did was moral, but she's no hooker imo based on what she posted.

Where did you get that? I never said she was a hooker...I said she was a pretend (listen to my story) hooker without knowing.

I called BS on the story. Its obviously either twisted to fit the threads subject or completly made up. But I would guess the former is more plausible...probably pulled from one of her fantasy lust fetishes

Handed her an envellope full of money....Come on...

I bet it was more like: "Here honey, I'm done, here's 40 bucks and call yourself a cab/train ticket."

It was in Belgian notes, which looked like a big wad of cash. It was mostly in 2000s and 1000s and when I got to London they told me it was 40-something to the GBP. It would have been around 200 quid all told or so, once the bureau had taken its fee.

The boyfriend did find out after I broke up with him. I left the currency at his apartment along with the shared stuff (CDs and stereo mostly). That would have been roundabout winter 98/99 so I'm not sure whether he could even have exchanged it if he did find it.

Even if he did he'd probably have blown it all on pot. :/

Then the Belgians are more lenient than the Brits. In the 90s they switched the 10 pence and the 5 pence coins to smaller designs (I guess to save money in the mint?) and past a certain date they wouldn't accept them.

They were the Brits' own sodding currency too!

                          Edit: Saw Lancer's post:
