I think this is a good idea.

As for the specifics of this case, I agree with whoever it was (maybe Mike) who said that some posters revel in getting banned and causing a big uproar. Said posters push and push to try and elicit a response from the mods and then whine about it. So in general I don't have much sympathy for Asher. However I do think that Locutus is prone to getting defensive and overreacting, so I reserve judgement on this case in particular.

Either way I won't be losing sleep on Asher's account.

I think the moderating on this site is just fine. I'll take it over CFC any day of the week. Those who are blaming the mods for any supposed decline in Apolyton need to spend some time at CFC to see how tyrannical mods can really get. I love the mods here.


(but yet I love all the mods made at CFC)

btw, while I generally disagree with the griper crowd, I have a suggestion. The folks on my board have taken to using the term "modictator". I think it is clever and maybe if you guys start using it, it'll catch on.
