Try THIS one on for size. It's a joint venture between the St. Petersburg (FL) Times, a major newspaper in a big swing state, and Congressional Quarterly, a non-partisan Congressional news service. They find Obama's statement false.

It's more realistic then Obama that's for sure.

I remember saying quite some time ago that the US would be in Iraq for a long time, because of the responsibility they took to do the job properly.

I also used that as an argument as to why they shouldn't intervene.

Anyways, I'm glad to see McCain reflecting my thoughts. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

I think the problem with McCain is he lacks credibility. What has he done for his country? You should elect a true patriot like Obama or Clinton.

          Right Oerdin?

Smith: Ok I can agree with that article that the full context was not included.

Asher: WTF are you talking about? The OP discussed and showed video evidence of McCain twisting facts and being highly selective of facts in order to convey a false impression. This country has had seven and a half years of that. We don't need more.

I don't like McCain, but the one thing I hate more than McCain is people like you who are 10000000000x more likely to be twisting facts and being highly selective of facts in order to convey a false impression.

Your entire stream of bull**** lately on politics, from the thread titles down to your signature, are full of bull**** and sleazy political nonsense.

You are the worst offender here. You are guilty! Guilty, sir.

                    But Toronto FC still sucks.

Surely there must be a long list of things you dislike more than McCain. I'll grant that people like Oerdin are probably pretty high on that list, though.

Is that some kind of sporting team?

If you really wanted to make me happy, you could've left off the "FC" qualifier.

Facts are fact. McCain was caught distorting them.
