It started as a three hour tour.

It all started as an advert in Mother Earth News.

While I was there, we had some discussions whether to paint to landward side of the seawall or to use tile (which is very cheap in the Phils). I believe we decided on using tiles.

Then we discussed what color. I opted for light blue. Lancer wanted dark blue to make the sea look lighter. Later, I suggested pink. Lancer's exact reply was, "Pink?!?" I think the walls are going to be blue.

Happy Birthday Lancer, looks like a good time.

Count me in for next winter. Might even have to look for my own place... What's the going price for a hammock between 2 palms?

That lot for Z looks like it's in pretty good shape erosion-wise. Is it a deeper lot than what you have?

Excellent Aeson, we're looking forward to meeting you.

Likely it's about the same Aeson. Our property had much worse erosion than this one. Actually it looked almost as good last year but ours was hit hard over last summer. Once we built the walls we backfilled them with many cubics of limestone from the quarry and dirt from a gov road widening project. Zkrib would need less cubics to backfill this property than we needed.

The price for a hammock between two palms in this instance is around $3000ish. (This particular property seems very reasonable to us) Then you need a seawall, house etc. Maybe $20,000 for everything, perhaps a bit more. Very rough guess. Whatever, it's cheap. Ours was a bit cheaper but Papa and Sho and myself worked for free.

Thanks for the birthday wishes Aeson, and to everyone who greeted me for my birthday.

Who knows though? I'll be looking at lots of mags while in the US to find good tropical color schemes.

Early yesterday. I was carrying hollow block and building seating with forms from the house project. Everyone was busy...

I swear it seems like Lancer is attempting to marry off his niece.
