              the balvenie doublewood is quite nice as well. i brought a few bottles back from edinburgh last year.

                      The ones I remember liking from my time in Scotland were The Macallan (18) and Glenfiddich. A while back I dug out a bottle of The Macallan (12) that my wife had given me for my birthday years ago and found I hated it. Now some of that may be b/c the 18 is smoother, but most of it is that my tastes have changed.
