St. Patrick's Day

As with me.

I'm about half English and 1/8th Irish.

Then once a year every USAian with a drop of Irish ancestry starts pretending they're Irish and jigging about in stupid bloody great hats and ridiculous wigs and shamrocks

Just like they do in October if they are Germans with the leiderhosen.

The tradition goes much further then that though, it is a feast day, and I'd be surprised if none of the 'real' Irishmen didn't celebrate.

I should say I'm all for Ireland celebrating their national day, thats fine and should be appluaded.

America actually has a larger Irish population than Ireland, therfore we have more of right to celebrate St. Patrick's Day than Ireland
