You can't blame me for the original design. And I'm working on modular versions of our hacks for vB3. But my time is very limited, and very few people are willing and capable of helping out. I'm aware of what is wrong with the current implementation. But it takes time to fix. If settler 3 had held together for another month we'd probably had been on vB3 last August. But instead of working towards the upgrade we had to patch together vB2 once more to work with the new software and not interfere with the upgrade, or we'd have had a month downtime last summer.
