BTW Gramphos, the other problem I've been having (and just had) is when I view a forum or click a link, and it tells me the post/forum doesn't exist...when it does, and refreshing proves this.

Many other sites I visit have customized versions of vBulletin, sometimes to more of an extent than this, but they did so intelligently by using modular designs. It looks like whoever modded Apolyton's code had no concept of "upgrades" and that they'd ever need to do it, which is an alarming lack of foresight.
So? No one ever claimed anything to the contrary. The code of vB2 isn't great in the first place, but yes, our hacking wasn't done in a way that would allow for easy future upgrades. It's mainly adding some code here, some there, which amounted to something quite difficult to maintain over the years.Solver, WePlayCiv Co-Administrator
