  • Anybody at Poly this hour of your night?

Bia, what a guy. If I've got a job he's got work if he wants it and word is he does.

    • It's only 7:30pm on the east coast.

Cool pics. I thought this was Poly II however. I obviously missed a post somewhere.

Pretty picture. Sometimes this place will give you a pic you don't need to work for. That said the really great pics will come when Zkrib is here with us next January.

            • Uncle Ray working on I Edit: No I do know duh. He's tapping a form. <---I need to do the same thing to get my brain to flow. This is a most excellent smiley. Zkrib once advised me that instead of getting a haircut I should beat the hair back into my head using this.

              • The pour comes to its end...

Bonifacio (Sho) uses a piece or rebar to poke the cement into it's place. The same as tapping but different. Sho is the mason behind it all.

                • Sho has had a busy day! He managed the crew up above as well as worked very hard. Here he is on the last corner.

Wezil, before I bought the cement mixer they built our place in Jagna a much larger deal by far. They MIXED all the cement by HAND!

                              That is scary.

My father was always a do-it-yourself'er so I took part in a few pours over the years but we never had that type of manual effort before. Pushing wheelbarrows was about as bad as it got.

                              • Yes, I can't imagine. These are tough people. I've done roofing quite a bit after the army and that's the only thing that could remotely compare.

This is our place at the beach btw in Garcia which is close to Jagna where I am now. Rigo will build the Poly House II in Mabini where he lives maybe an hour and a half up the road.
