That's somewhat true, but the MinnesOta O is like a prolonged hard O. The canadian O is an ooo sound (like aboot). We're also not so good at the z sound of pleurals, like "I'm from White Bear Lake, Go Bearsss". Also, we don't say "eh" that much.
