    Bush Country by John Podhoretz.

It's isn't as insane a concept as I first thought. I checked it out and I can tell by the events being referred to that this book was written right after the Misson Accomplished banner was hung out. At that time, if you were a supply-sider neocon, you had reason to crow. Bush was on a string of short-term wins, and the entire foreign and domestic policies of the U.S. had yet to turn to crap.

If you are a supply-sider neocon you still think he's the best president ever, except for maybe Raygun.

Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for it next time I'm in the library.

I voted against Reagan every time he ran for anything.

I watched Sicko last week. It was quite... "informatively fun" (is there such a term?) although not sure how accurate

59....I reached voting age just as Reagan was running for Governor for the first time.

...Wait a minute! That's wrong. The first time Reagan ran, he ran against Pat Brown, right? I voted for him when he rain against Unruh. So...what?...did I miss the first election? Crud, my memory of ancient history is covered with dust.

Edit: Right, I was wrong. I wasn't old enough to vote when he beat Pat Brown. I voted against him when he successful ran for re-election against Jesse "Money is the Mother's Milk of Politics" Unhuh.
