I beg your pardon? I most certainly am not.
I'll hit you with a molasses bucket if you keep that kind of talk going.

The United States commissioned her first battleship, USS Texas, on Apr. 15, 1895. This coal-burning ship, had an overall length of 309 feet and an extreme beam of 64 feet, displaced 6,315 tons, and had a complement of 30 officers and 362 enlisted men. She carried two 12-inch and six 6-inch guns and was equipped with four 14-inch torpedo tubes. For protection she carried 12-inches of steel armor, and while not the titan of later years, for her era she was one of the most powerful ships in the world.

New Navy Nuclear Sub Makes Debut

          Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006

ABOARD THE U.S. NAVY SUBMARINE TEXAS -- The Navy has debuted its newest nuclear-powered submarine in an Atlantic Ocean swing off the Florida coast, the second in the latest fast-attack class that marks a broad departure from the Cold War-era deterrence boats.

The Texas, which will officially earn a "USS" designator in a commissioning ceremony in two weeks, weighs 7,800 tons, measures 377 feet long and can remain submerged on covert surveillance up to three months. It travels faster than 25 knots underwater and dives farther than 800 feet.

When I think of Texas, I think of Steers, BIG UNS!!!

Although this is know as Texas Eagle it was taken up north somewhere
