Yep, 1st season was pretty much training and did not have too many arc episodes. Pilot is quite bad as well ..

Yup. The pilot was bad enough to turn me off the whole series. It took some serious persuading by a couple of friends to get me to watch any more of it. Two episodes later, I was hooked.
