I thought she was a reasonable voice for Pakistan
She was Musharraf with a vagina.

That doesn't mean I want her dead however, very sad

Moderate muslims, where are you at? Are you going to come out now? No? Sit back with your head it the sand some more?

Well their leader in Pakistan was just killed... so I assume a bunch of them were just in Rawalpindi.

Sounds like something well planned, suicide bombing in combinatiin with a sniper attack. Sounds like AQ.

          Bad thing,
inner political chaos or even a civil war in a land with atomic weapons, especially in a land where there might be supporters of muslim extremists within the government and military isn´t something the world needs.

            sad news.

this surely sounds the death knell for musharraf.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that there will be rioting. Possibly gunfire into the air.

Certainly a very large portion of Pakistans moderate elements are in the PPP, and Bhutto WAS the leader of the PPP, even if many party members were growing discontented.

She was corrupt and had a history of using violence when it suited her. Still, she was probably Pakistan's best hope

She was going to be my #1 pick in teh dead pool, BTW.

Do we know it was Islamists? Since Bhutto was way ahead in the polls leading up to next month's election it seems Musharraf also has a motive.
