For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

Re: The OFFICIAL U.S. presidential predictions thread(with prizes!)
The more primary voters know about R. Giuliani, the more they dislike him. I wonder if it's the same way with H. Clinton -- she hasn't really faced attack ads from her competitors outside the early states.
Within the US, left-wing press has tried to push up McCain a lot lately, probably because he is the weakest candidate in general election with a chance to win primaries. If McCain wins in NH, the race is wide open on the Republican side.

seems like we got our answer for question #5.
Democratic party debates should've given Mike Gravel (who's publicly trying to join the Libertarian party) enough exposure to guarantee the standard ~0.1% of protest votes given by people who in every election are pissed off enough to send a message that they hate both of their options in first past the post -voting system.

Well Apolytonites, it is election day. Let’s see how many people guessed EITHER candidate correctly!
Snoopy369, Obama and Thompson on page 1
Krill, Obama and Huckerbee on page 2
EPW, Obama and Huckerbee on page 2
Ramo, Obama and Romeny on page 3
Impaler, Obama and Guiliani on page 3
Bosh, Obama and McCain on page 4. Predicted an Obama victory by 3% of the popular vote.
Igloodude, Obama and McCain on page 3. Predicted a McCain victory by 2.9% of the popular vote.
My own guess was wildly wrong, I was guessing Clinton and Guiliani.

I honestly can't believe so many people thought Giuliani had a prayer at the GOP nomination. There was simply no way, no how the Republicans would ever nominate a pro-choice, pro-gay rights candidate.

Except he listed policy positions, and was talking about THIS election, not some distant future election.
