I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

Alexander set up a working state.

            Genghis did not.

This is a really tough match to compare. I suppose I'll shift to Genghis since he has so much less to work with at the start of his military career.

We didn't bother resolving the greatest civ list down to one choice from the last two though. Maybe we should let this one end with just two as well.

                    Statistical anomaly.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

                    • I just figured that Chin Shi Huang Di was not among the original choices. Why is it that that freaky dude is always forgotten? The man conquered all China, in tremendous battles. The conquests of Caesar or Suleyman, Cortez and a some others definitely look pale compared to him.

So the rules are that we don't need to both "hurt" and "heal" but rather can opt to just do one or the other instead? That will have the effect of throwing off our method of error detection by summing the totals.

                            • Rule 1 says:

You can add 2 points and deduct 2 points each vote.

It doesn't say must. It says can. So I choose to deduct but not add .
