    It stands to reason that a far more densely packed place such as NYC is going to present far more potential targets are much closer quarters than say Backwater Gulch, Redneck County, TX…

    Besides, you are in any case guilty of not comparing like for like regarding the stats because you compared an entire state with a city, either out of stupidity or in a clumsy attempt to skew the figures in your favour. Either way you’ve been found out...

        Gee, you can easily pick out the half dozen or so major cities from the surrounding areas of low population density.
        Thank you for pointing out how stupid your original comment was then. News flash, murders happen where people live. If the rest of NY state outside of NYC was barren waste land NYCs statistics don't change.

        Obvioulsy you were trying to say most Texans live in rural areas, it is the only thing you could have meant that would have any bearing on the topic.

        Academic honesty Oerdin, you were supposed to learn it during your exile. Here is an example. The largest population centers in Texas have a higher rate of murder than NYC.

                  Been to Houston and El Paso. They were both crap though I fully acknowledge other parts of Texas maybe less crap or possibly even good.
                  Try Austin or San Antonio. I would hate to judge all of California on LA...

                            Are you doing this on purpose? You are completely failing to understand Sloww's point. He was saying that the dispatcher, despite being from Texas (and consequently not Cailfornia - hence the CA reference), was still against the whole vigilante thing.

                                The only place the reference was with what was typed was what was in your head. As for the expansion of it in the following posts, that didn't happen until you attacked Oerdin and he stood his ground.

                                Now don't for a second think that you are off the hook either Oerdin. The fact that you never mentioned that you did not generalize in the OP until I pointed it out indicates that you wanted to generalize about Texas and failed, and there is a high probability that you were in some way eager to get Sloww's goat (I do believe that there has been a precident set for this).
