I use mine as a paper weight in my brief case.
If I turn it on, someone may actually get a hold of me.
I only turn it on when I'm at the golf course and someone hasn't shown up yet. And for emergencies, (which I've never had one)

I usually get my daughter's or wife's old phone when they upgrade. I have no idea what features it has beyond making calls. One time I had it on and it rang, and I didn't even realize it and just wondered who's phone was ringing.

Who the heck wants to be reachable 24/7.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

You're only reachable if you give out your number. Not everyone I meet gets my cell number.

I always think that as I drive by someone doing 25 in a 65 because they are too busy on the phone.

Thanks for the tips! Should I buy more stock in Enron? Its price seems to do nothing but go up, up, up. What could be a better investment?

I used mine to make nearly 6000€ worth of data transfer.

holy ... you had unlimited deal, right? Or did you actually accumulate a bill that big?

Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

Tattila, I mean I think the price without any deals is close to 1€ per meg... Today my data transfer already has exceeded 200 megs, so I'm glad it's only 10€ per month with the unlimited transfer. I simply couldn't afford those horrible normal prices.

i check my mail, never answer incoming calls, sometimes lurk at Poly when I am away from home.

mostly make calls only in an emergency.

To be honest, it depends on how I feel. LIke today I've just stayed at home adn ignored all my lectures, and just done what I wanted to do because I felt like it (however that also included doing revision of stuff I need to know anyway so it's not a complete loss). I'd have been really pissed off if I had to do anything because someone asked me to do something for them that meant I had to leave my house, but tomorrow I know I'm going to have to get up and do a lot of stuff and in general be reachable.

So, there is one thing above all else I love on mobile phones.
