It's less work than dealing with a whole package of frozen chicken breasts.

me my sweetie invested in a freezer some years back.

We buy a tray, put two or three in a ziploc pack, and as we need them thaw them out.

So many recipes for chicken, luv chicken and rice with a basting sauce over the top

Does that actually happen? Teh thing with breasts, unlike teh kind of steak I eat, is that they aren't flat on each side, so I'm hoping that they don't have teh kind of available surface area to get stuck to each other too hard.

In the name of really bad advertising, I've changed the thread title.

In my experience they do. Think 3-4 lbs of solid chicken breast.

Maybe I should buy those Purdue Perfect Portions things - individually wrapped, flavoured, etc.

As a matter of choice, try placing the frozen breasts into hot water, thaws them out as well as seperates them

And sound as though they are full of additives and chemicals.

Just buy some small freezer bags - stick one or two breats in each - tie them off and whack them in the freezer.

It will take less time in the long run than bashing frozen lumps of poultry apart.
I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

The difference isn't usually that noticable though.

I know you don't like to use marinades, but this is the simplest marinade in the world, and it tastes AWESOME.

Mix: 1/4 cup butter (just melt a half stick in the microwave)
                            1/4 cup BBQ sauce
                            1/4 cup honey
2 tsp of spicy or grain mustard

Put that over a couple of boneless chicken breasts. (For best results, make some slices in the meat before hand to let the meat take up the marinade.)

Then grill for 2-3 minutes a side.

                            Quick, easy, and damned delicious.

                              That sounds good

Easy marinade. How long should they marinate?

20 minutes should be sufficient. Grill the sliced side up first, and brush on extra marinade whilst grilling.

My own personal preference is for spicy BBQ sauce and mustard, giving it a nice sweet and spicy balance, but your mileage may differ.
