This thread is not about everyone's life philosophies, so I'm going to stop after replying to this.

Exploring thoughts and contemplating the possibilities of life are not my passions; they are simply what I believe to be absolutely necessary to live. They are tools. I use them to figure out what is important, what I should be passionate about.

It's quite possible that when I use these tools to their fullest extent, I may discover that girls and cars are the end all be all of life and that I should be passionate about them, but I don't know that yet. And I won't know that until I'm done thinking.

But by the way it looks like now, you'll never be done and 20 years from now, yuo'll stll be in the same spot.

How can you even know you'll be done thinking when what you will have discovered or came up with will be your opinion only!? Seems like a waiste of time to me.

My biggest complaint about religious people is that they seem to think that just because they can't come up with a logical proof for god's non-existence, then he must exist.

Actually most religious people would believe in god even if they did have logical proof for god's non-existence. Other then that, I agree with your point. I did mention I was neither believer nor non-believer.

There are strong atheists and there are weak atheists. The strong ones are the fundies who are (a) loud and (b) religious in their belief. They believe that there is no god.

Weak atheists are a different matter. Weak atheists, who make up the majority of atheists and don't bother anyone, simply do not take into consideration the possibility of a god when conducting their actions.

Weak atheists are without belief when it concerns gods, and therefore do not let any sort of potential deity influence them.

It has nothing to do with proof.

Like I said, atheism mimics an actual religion. On a side note, it seems all the fundies are on the internet.

Mimics... at most. Religions have structure; atheism does not. The most fervent atheists appear religious, but they have no religion.

Also, the internet brings out the worst in people.
