No, cutting taxes reduces revenue (in the short term, anyway - in the long-term things are less clear). It only creates (or enlarges) a deficit if you assume that spending remains constant or increases. If one cut taxes and also cut spending, one could have a net benifit to the budget. Anyway, the "do not call" registry (nice one, Kuci) is probably the only "accomplishment" I give Bush credit for. His presidency has been a nearly unmitigated disaster fr this country.
