My qualm about TGMBC is that it is only rip roaring funny the first time you see it. It's only worth a chuckle on re-viewing.
It isn't that I don't like Marx Brothers, but they don't make top ten for me.
I don't get English humor. Monty Python, and like that.
Playful loves it, it's just by me.

He's definitely a redneck by Canadian standards but he'd make a great Texan.

What about Martin and Lewis movies? I loved those. Princess Bride, one of my favorites.

So how can you make a judgement if you've only seen one Monty Python? Isn't that a bit one sided

Afterwards she asked why it was funny. I didn't really know what to say - it's not like a knock knock joke.
Actually I'm pleasantly surprised at the amount of Americans that have also chosen Holy Grail/Life of Brian here - we usually consider Pythoneque humour above your heads.
Terence Hill. Contrary to rumor, he does have a name.
But we dont learn it in the first movie with Henry Fonda. There's a commercial where Hill is standing face to face with a gunfighter in a bar and he's slapping the guy silly and the guy just stands there not knowing what to do. Maybe thats a scene from They Call Me Trinity, its pretty funny even though its overplayed

was going to edit my post. As it wasn't clear. I have seen bits and pieces of the other films. Although perhaps I should give them more consideration. But from what I saw, I wasn't all that impressed. But perhaps I just didn't give it enough time.
