Most of my favorites have been mentioned already.

      A couple of others.
      The first half of Stripes.
      Ghostbusters.

Up to three pages and only one mention of Clerks?

            And no mention of OfficeSpace?

Where have all the geeks gone?

While I do like movies like Blues Brothers, Holy Grail, Fish Called Wanda, Animal House, Airplane, Ghost Busters, etc, I'm going to give a shout out to some classics:

Duck Soup, A Night at the Opera (Marx Bros)

Some Like It Hot (Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis, Marilyn Monroe)

                  The Bank Dick (WC Fields)

A Shot in the Dark, The Pink Panther Strikes Again (Peter Sellers)

                  Dr. Strangelove

                  Manhattan (Woody Allen)

The Producers ('68) (Zero Mostel, Gene Wilder)

                  Oh, and a Japanese film:
                  A Taxing Woman
Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety. - Ben Franklin

Clerks seems to be the movie that defines me as an old fart. I went to it all excited at the hype, ready and really wanting to like it. I found it lame, mostly unfunny, poorly filmed and questionably edited. I continue to be amazed at the fandom this sad film maintains.

Saw it again on video. It didn't improve.

Can't explain it. Just didn't strike a chord with me.

I think it is precisely b/c KS gets so much from so little that this film is impressive. I can see how it wouldn't be for everyone though.

I actually missed the hype and 1st saw it several years after its release.
