Cheating is a the bare minimum, he is yoked or is supposed to be yoked for life with what should be his heart beat.
He should respect her and discuss prior to doing anything major.

Based on what is currently known, the guy may have not been physically unfaitful yet, but his behavior exhibits a pretty clear intention to cheat. Did he cheat before ? I have no idea.
Would he have cheated in the end? Most likely although he might have chickened out. ( I recall during a prior relationship flirting with another woman on a business trip . . . it was fun and I enjoyed it but in the end I declined---I kinda kick myself in the ass for that since my relationship ended anyway a few months later-- but overall it was the right thing)
His behavior is enough that I think most wives would be kicking his behind to the curb. AS a married guy this is clearly unacceptable.
Lastly is this guy an idiot? why does she want him if he is so unremittingly stupid to do this using an email account that his wife has access to? BUt why would anyone want to get caught? I would think that most people would want either
1. Cheat and get sex on the side and keep whatever (shallow husk of a deceitful) relationship you have -- OR
2. End the relationship
To say someone wants to get caught seems to thrown a whole bunch more stuff out there. Is he trying to hurt his wife? Shock her into sex games with third parties? Provoke her into dumping him because he doesn't have the guts to just say its over?
