Stupid Canadian Cops Busted Trying To Incite Protest Riot
The news is everywhere in newspaper today in Quebec.
I should also say that the mainstream media didn't spoke a lot about it, since the video appeared on youtube, versus the buzz that was going around on several Quebec blog's.
I should say that if these guy's did throw rocks, bottle or anything, a lot of police officer should be hardly punish.
"Economic" protestors are not a PC-protected protest group (as natives are for example). The cops and powers that be would have loved to have smashed some skulls to show the riff-raff who is in charge. They just needed a reason....
"I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure." - Clarence Darrow
"I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it." - Mark Twain
Ya-- that darn Flubber-- always wanting evidence of stuff before assuming it and assessing the video for what it actually shows and not taking the word of some unknown individual as to what happened off the video
How annoying !!!
We all want evidence man. A lot of the time it's not there. That's why the rest of use use common sense. These men were behaving immorally in my opinion, and I think most peoples. Yet you want to give them the benefit of the doubt.

So you think its the authorities simply wanting to show those people that have the "audacity to protest" their power?
Could be. My thinking is different in that I think a true show of power is dismiss people as irrelevant. I would have thought that violence would have raised the profile of the protest and would have been the opposite of what the authorities would want.
BUt perhaps some think that violence tends to get blamed on protesters and therefore tends to discredit them with the general public a bit.
I don't know. I still don't see any reason why higher authorities would want any form of violence. I would have thought that they would get the most plaudits for arranging things such that all demonstrations were peaceful.

From what you actually saw on the video, not what you are assuming, what was immoral?
"The DPRK is still in a state of war with the U.S. It's called a black out." - Che explaining why orbital nightime pictures of NK show few lights. Seriously.

Immorally? I have no idea what that means.
I just know in the video, they did nothing. If you think otherwise please cite the time of their misconduct.
It may well be that their plan was foiled when people declared them as police and they were aware of the videos being taken. BUt until there is more evidence, I will give them the benefit of the doubt.
I would do the same for you if you were charged with something

Too bad-- it happens to be true. My profession and training means that I assess things with a very critical mind and I happen to believe strongly in innocent until proven guilty.
I would require the same level of proof whether it was you, a police officer or the president of the United States.

This story was in "La Presse" (biggest newspaper in Quebec) this morning.
SQ (Surete du Quebec), the provincial police, has confirmed that the 3 guys were agents.
