Venezuelian Aggressor Only Changes 10% Of The Constitution!
That guy died almost 20 years before Chavez came to power, and hadn't been president for nearly 40 years. What's your point?
The Venezualan middle class wasnt in power then?
Venezuala was not badly governed by 3rd world standards. It got tempted by oil, borrowed too much, and suffered significant economic pain as a result. Naturally the poor were angry, and want change. To charecterize the entire Ven middle class as scum, etc, and to dismiss any interest on their part in democracy is well - cmon aggie youre not a stalinist, but thats what it sounds like. Crush the bourgeois insect!

Then he gets all holy, a broadcaster who supported a coup several years earlier loses its license. Others who supported the same coup dont, cause theyve stopped criticizing Chavez.
Bull****.
Stopped criticizing him my ass. Moderated their criticism of him in some cases, yes. But if that involves ceasing to call him a ****** on national television, then I guess it is all right with me.
Since then he has insured that there is NO opposing voice in venezualan broadcast media.
Bull****. Globovision was having a go at him a few months back. They still get away with it, despite Chavez threatening to shut them down if they don't obey the law.
when did GW attempt a military coup against the govt of the US? be precise please.

Oh great....
Now answer my question: would a US network that actively involved itself in a coup to overthrow the elected government be permitted to retain its broadcast license.
when did GW attempt a military coup against the govt of the US? be precise please.
Did I say that? He did attempt a revolution against the ruling government that he considered (correctly) to be an oppressive and unrepresentative force.
Gee whiz, so did Chavez.
Now answer my question, or consider yourself owned.

yes, globovision is still holding out with some criticism, despite being harassed and threatened.
BTW, in mainly non-white country, how would calling someone a "******" be to their harm?
I await Foxnews calling Hillary Clinton "a Jesus freak"

1. And if a British newspaper had criticized GW, or called for his ouster or even death, he would have shrugged it off, I suspect. We are talking about Venezualan media, in Venezuala, supporting a coup against a govt they condsidered illegitimate, exactly what Chavez had done.
2. GW did not in fact start the US revolution. He was a militia colonel in Virginia, when the fight began in Massachusetts. He was then called upon by the continental congress to lead the armed forces.
So again, if a situation happened in the US like Venezuala 1992, where a military officer attempted to overthrow the govt of the US by force, would he be allowed to run for president.

Richmond Dispatch (later the Times Dispatch) , New Orleans Times Picayune, etc, etc, etc.

Like it or not, Chavez is comparable to George Washington. If George Washington would have led a coup against the US in similar circumstance I'm pretty sure he would be encouraged to run for president.

AFAIK there is nothing preventing a convicted felon running for US president. Lyndon LaRouche has been running for president for years. The Democrats wouldn't grant him any delegates, but there is nothing stopping him running his own party. He just won't be able to vote for himself. I think Leonard Peltier, who is a convicted felon, was going to run for Vice President at some point.
Consider your question answered.
Now answer my damn question. I'm sick of your slimebag tactics. Just answer the question.
Again: would a network [e.g. ABC, NBC or CBS] that aided and abetted a coup against the government be allowed to operate in the United States? Let's say that they did it tomorrow. Would they still be allowed to broadcast?

It's a simple question.
I already did. Richmond Dispatch, New Orleans Times Picayune, and dozens of other newspapers which had actively and repeatedly supported a rebellion which went on for 4 years and took hundreds of thousands of lives.
You think those papers arent comparable to TV stations with licenses? Yet you think the US rev, or LaRouches credit card fraud are comparable to the the '92 coup?
BTW, you may not be aware of it, but the ABC network, Foxnews, etc dont HAVE licenses. We license local stations in this country. Which then affiliate with networks as they please.
