why do they need to target military installations? what's wrong with the white house?
If they targeted the white house the military would still respond. They are robots invading the US.

And yes, sometimes dumb action shows or movies have unrealistic elements, like political figures shooting a lot of things. Get over it. Watch some greek soap opera about how beautiful the Acropolis used to look and stop moaning here.

If I was an alien robot and I saw that picture, I'd surely attack the U.S. first thinking they would be an easy target.

This post, for the record, makes absolutely no sense:

Of course, if The White House needs some Catsup/Ketchup or other condiments from Heinz then invite this fella to take one for the team

Independence Day didnt have any good alien robots but still managed to have less scenes of "cool army scenes"...

            well that's a great argument...

Wiglaf, for you, I have no problem explaing:

First pic is of a cyborg bush meaning aliens robots overtook him

Second picture is of Bush around a military setting with lens covers on, very possibly a simple phot op

Third is John kerry, whose wife is part of Heinz Family who makes condiments, which is what reason I could think of John kerry could help the white house, not for his swfity boat lack of prowess or even weekend warrior Bush doing the Texas Air National Guard

              Ok

Just a post and not anything too deep, hope ya picked it up this go around

Mark, movies are about big explosions, and the US military makes the biggest.

                FACT!

Die Hard 4.0 had plenty of big explosions, no army (depsite the terrorists) at all

I recall a fighter jet trying to kill Bruce Willis. I think he was USAF.

Someone once described Transformers as one lousy, two-hour Army recruitment ad.

Hate to break it to you Markos, but Jason Bourne was trained to kill by the......US Army.

So, you have to hate the Bourne movies now.

                          ACK!
