You provide no details, no context. There is no point to this thread because of that.
All of which has what to do with you jumping out the door at 20 mph before the guy can pull the trigger?

    CALIFORNIA JURY FREES MURDERER

Some famous man who shot and murdered his wife was set free by a jury. Apparently, the prosecutor was holding a glove that did not fit the defendant, so he was let free.

    Is this justice?
Umm...no, it isn't. See? No whining about "context" or how I'd "hypothetically" jump out the door of a moving car.

Yes. Since Rufus provided the information you obviously felt no need to, I find you are full of crap in trying to paint this guy as some sort of innocent victim.

According to the testimony of the other people in the car, the driver didn't even know what the murderer was doing. But even if he did know the guy had just shot someone, what would you do if a murderer with a gun was telling you to drive?

So you don't know a damn thing, but run your mouth anyway. WTG, Berz.

And yet this guy may still be an innocent victim, despite Berz being full of crap. Perhaps that should be discussed?

Evidently 12 people that heard the evidence think him not so innocent.

And as we all know, juries never make mistakes, what with them not being comprised of biased, fallible humans.

Christ, you're not discussing anything. This guy could be innocent, or he could not be innocent. Read about the ****ing issue before coming to a conclusion. Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

                    Ok, let's discuss.

He was present for a murder.
He facilitated escape by driving participants away from the scene.
He further facilitated by not making a call to the cops, thereby covering it up

This stuff is easily assumed. The OP is filled with nothing but speculation and preconceived opinion, so I feel no obligation to dig for facts.

Maybe he was scared he would killed too?
He's going to die now. He had to have known that if they were caught, it was a definite possibility as well.

With that knowledge and with those fears, he could have turned himself and the other participants in, risking their wrath, up to and including death, or do as he did. Exhibit no morals and take his chances with the state of Texas.

Does it say anywhere that he's a mongoloid?
He'd almost have to be, to not be able to reason this out.

The only witnesses to the case (others in the car) say that he was unaware that a murder had taken place. A brief article I read said someone left the car, got into an altercation of some sort, and ended that altercation by shooting someone in the head.

It can be assumed that the driver knew he was involved with some shady business, but if I read the story right, he did not know that a murder was necessarily going to take place.

Does he honestly deserve to die because he was too stupid to know that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time?

If he sat on evidence? Evidently some think so.

Did he? Or are you just making that up?

Even so, we want your opinion, Sloww. This is a forum, a forum for discussion.

Is his crime so bad that he does not deserve a second chance, or even the ability to live out his life imprisoned? What's your opinion?

You don't hesitate to call for the death penalty when it comes to sickening sociopaths with no remorse, and while I disagree with that stance, I can understand it.

But this is different. This man killed no one and did not even have the intention to kill anyone. Do you think he deserves to die?

This thread should be closed due to lack of facts.

                              What exactly are we discussing?
