Alimony is one thing, child support quite another.

They are still his kids, and he is still responsible for them until they are of age. I could see this argument for alimony, but not for child support.

If you make them you should be expected to support the kids. If you aren't prepared to support them then you aren't ready to make them.

z krib he wont deal with me as far as money,he is asking us to give him half of this money back so he can have some sort of a life. Not like it is my fault he got remarried and has 3 kids with another ex wife ages 1through 3.

By the way i didnt take him to court for this it was ordered when we got divorced he never paid but some how it got brought up in the AGS office and they are now garnishing his wages. He apparently applied for medical insurance through the gvt with the now ex wife and they brought up my kids. thats the cause of the arrears.

I used to be surprised about things like that but after four years of dealing with my wife's ex husband and his attitude towards paying, nothing surprises me anymore. His only motivation is shame and even that has limits. He doesn't work because he don't want to pay. He gets fired from most jobs because they won't cheat for him when they find out he owes support. Anything that is an inconvience to him usually means I take up the slack. And it's not just him, I know dozens like him some of which used to be friends but no longer.

One of my sisters has an ex like this. It really shows where people's priorities are. This guy doesn't have a leg to stand on legally, so he's just trying to guilt-trip you, Mrs. T. The posters here are right. You are in the clear, especially with the way you actually use the money.

Yeah, you're right about dropping it, Sloww. After all, Asher has never publicly admitted being wrong about anything. But technically, he could become a parent, and I don't like seeing ill-informed BS like that going unchallenged.
