I was shocked to discover that this 'squashed swastika' logo was actually unveiled to the world the other night in the Roundhouse, Chalk Farm, London, which is over the road from my flat.
The Roundhouse was once a steam locomotive shed, then a gin warehouse, then a music venue (Doors, Hendrix, Patti Smith, Bowie, Stranglers), then abandoned, and has recently been renovated as a music venue again. For such an illustrious history, this is a terrible stain on its heritage.Comment
