Another reason for is that there's lots of hot girls in Berlin. At least when I was in there, a lot of them. Really nice girls. Yes. Also, there's lots of xtc in Berlin, so these chicks are really nice. They want to be touching you and you want to be touching them.

Also, good club scene compared to other places, in Europe it's usually pretty good but in Berlin, it's top tier.
    In da butt.

There have been quite some articles about this throughout the last year. And pretty much all of them give a portion (not the whole) of the credit to Schröder's reforms.
They can give the credit to whom they wish. I can only point to the fact that once Schroeder et al. packed their bags, business sentiment began to improve.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. That letter was covered over here too. It wasn't an apology and wasn't perceived as such.

A personal apology would have taken all of a minute of Schroeder's time. But apparently he couldn't spare it.

              Post hoc, ergo propter hoc.

If that's all you can come up with, you failed to convince me.

Government policies sure do have an effect on the economy. There has been a slight liberalization of German work laws and a slight decrease in the burden employers must carry so you've seen a slight improvement in the German economy. It's pretty much a direct connection combined with the recent increase in exports.

Pity you prefer trolling to a serious discussion. Unsurprising, however.

                            West German GDP: €29,000
                            East German GDP: €20,000

                            German GDP: €27,000

                            This is nominal

Don't you mean per capita income and not GDP?

What they mean I think is Merkel has ruled for a too short time, for her to be the reason for the improved german economy, that deep down it is due to Schroeders reforms

I dont see why Dans laughs, republicans used to say the boyant economy during Clintons periods was due to Reagan´s reforms (it seems they often forget Bush 1 was president in between) now the same is being said regarding merkel and schroeder
