There are so few good advocates for the principled anti-war stance (as opposed to the practical anti-war stance). If Sheehan didn't exist, she would have to be created, with all of the ultra-lefty fringe baggage like associations with Chavez and other communists.

I think she knows better than y'all about how her son felt about Bush and Iraq, so who is using him? He may have joined before it became more apparent we were lied into Iraq, but it would be a mistake to say that because he was there and supporting his comrades he agreed with the propaganda campaign to get us into Iraq.

Even assuming that the prez lied (a retarded position IMO), I haven't heard Sloww describe him as a hero.
You gotta be kidding?!?!? The ******* lies are too numerous to count (easier counting the truths), but can you honestly say the Prez and his cronies tried to give us a fair portrait of this "threat" posed by Saddam?

Are you in any way implying that she is not scum?
I'll need more evidence than the the Bu**** I get from Repubs.

Arrian, she sold out her son's sacrifice. She blatantly lies, and seeks personal attention off his death. Disgusting behavior.
So you were good buddies with Casey? You seem to know him better than his own mother. And since when is it disgraceful for a mother to hold the Prez accountable for his conduct when that conduct got her son killed?

She IS a traitor. Her actions just embolden the enemy and cause more death. Her son is probably turning in his grave because of her short sighted and narcissistic actions. Surrender would only bring more death to our shores and her son would have died in vain.

Good riddence! May she and Jane Fonda enjoy each other's company in hell.
Surrender to whom? Iraqis? It aint people like Sheehan who brought death to our shores, that would be the Repubs and the Dems and their idiotic policy of keeping troops in Saudi Arabia even while they're getting attacked. If you think she's going to hell, I'm not sure I want to see your version of Heaven.

Perhaps you missed the part where this was explained.

Explained by whom? Somebody at Free Republic? Now explain why I should believe people who didn't know Casey and his conversations with his mother over his mother.

dannubis, you're wrong on this. I must agree with the consies/repubs in this thread against you, which is causing mild nausea. Please stop.

and since when must I explain why you should care when you obviously dont to get the people smearing her to explain why I should take the word of people who were not privy to the conversations between Cindy and her son. Not one of better moments, Dino...

Because I'd like someone, anyone to explain to me why so many people care about what she thinks?

that makes her a villain to some and a hero to others
