  • Drive thrus

I'm quite fond of them, but I always find that when I go home and I start eating that they have screwed up my order yet again. But I never bother to check so go figure.

What are you? Do you look over everything they give you before you go, or do you whine and complain only when you get home?

I've only driving through a drive through once in my 6 years of driving (legally). It was to get a cup of hot chili from Wendy's for my sick girlfriend, who was also in the car.

I probably have a fear of them that I just don't notice.

Those idiots convinced me long ago to check.

My life is perfect and everything works out for me. So I have no idea what you are talking about.

Double combo with rootbeer and fries at Wendy's.

I always get coke or the burger is wrong.

I dislike drive throughs. They won't let me walk through them when I am drunk.

That's because rootbeer is an odd beverage.

I never check... they are almost always correct with me. Then again, I also hardly use drive thrus and prefer to walk inside and order.

There is a Jack in the Box near me that always has at least 5 or so cars in line. At peak times it can easily get over a dozen. It's on the corner of a rather busy intersection. It is far quicker to just go in. The other 3 corners of the intersection have Shell stations.

There are actually places here that serve you the food in the car. I ddin't know that such places still existed.

I can only expect that they are some sort of retro thing, that grew in popularity recently?

                          Yeah, it's called "Sonic"

For less chain-y type drive ins, Atlanta does have "The Varsity" (though that's become a mini-chain in the Atlanta metro area).

I have been to the Varsity. It was pretty crap (I think I could only have french fries there, but they weren't good and my freinds didn't like the meat things).

I think it is old though. From back in the 50s or something.

I went to it in 1998, I think.
