Good catch - I thought it was a Bananarama original.

That adds another step into that solution, which makes it 7. OK, I've now edited the solution - it's a whole different path now, not involving Erasure, Abba, Bananarama OR Peter Gabriel.

That turned out to be easier than I expected - I did a brief YouTube search with "Stefanie Sun cover", and spotted the her singing a Patty Smyth song... I knew Smyth had done a Waits cover, and the rest of the path came entirely from memory.

Heh, you are not the first to make this mistake on Apolyton. It's just that Shocking Blue was the first Dutch band to reach the #1 position on the US charts with Venus. The singer, Mariska Veres, died a couple of months ago
