Why the hell would IMDB have "vomit scene" as a plot keyword? Is this some new fetish I haven't heard about yet?

I highly recommend "Thank You For Smoking". The scenes in which the main character, a tobacco lobbyist brings his son around to his way of thinking, "moral flexibility", are priceless. George Lucas should have watched this movie before writing Episode III of Star Wars, because the guy who wrote "Thank You For Smoking" seems to know something about subverting young people.

DArius, American Gangster WAS AWESOME!

I mean jeesh, that was relaly a movie I actually really really liked. Easily the best movie of this year so far for me. Easily. Has chances of becoming a classic gangster movie. It was really good. It had excellent casting, great acting, great music, great writing, great directing... it was just very very good IMO Not overhyped.

Also another movie I recommend is the new Herzog movie, Rescue Dawn.

It's about this pilot who crashes in Laos, part of the Vietnam war. Based on a true story, leading actor is Christian Bale who rocks and is in my opinion top 3 actor in Hollywood today. So you get a combination of wonderful Herzog vision, and you can see it, it's unique (if you like Herzog that is) and also Bale makes once again a superb role here. The story is also good and interesting and it has the elements what good movies like these needs, it's not just intense and weird like that, it has its own pace.

I really recommend this one, it was very good.

I watched Ratatouille the other night. What a piece of crap! The animation is flawless, but the movie is boring as hell and not even remotly funny...

I watched Surf's Up. I don't usually like surfing-themed stuff, but I liked teh movie.

I loved teh Pen-Gu-ins. Teh scene where they put Chicken Joe in teh hot water and he starts eating teh vegetables

Saw Volver last night. Very good movie, IMO. Boy is Penelope Cruz beautiful. Plenty of shots of her cleavage, too.

American Gangster was pretty good, solid plot and good acting.

I loved Ratatouille, personally, the plot was quite amusing; it was a great kid's movie and an interesting adult movie to watch, for a kid's movie. Remember the target age bracket here is 7-12 ...
