It was so long ago. I think he looked around 30 sec, and it blew before 45 sec.

If you've got an egg and a microwave, you can verify this experiment!

before we moved into our house, a guy below us in the apartments left something on his stove. we went
to walk the dog and i saw smoke in his apartment. I told tubes, dude wtf? Tubes ended up jumping the balcony cause his door was open. The idiot was passed out drunk and trying to cook, no clue what was in that pan but the pan was burnt to a crisp.
When you find yourself arguing with an idiot, you might want to rethink who the idiot really is.

In a haze one morning, I placed the carton of milk in the oven instead of back in the fridge.

Later on, I turned the oven on to heat up before roasting some sweet potatoes.

Bad news- stinky caramelized milk and burning carton.

I had that one morning here. I woke up and there was smoke filling the house, very scary.

It took a couple hours, but we figured out that the smoke was coming from downstairs. The lady who lives there had left a pot on the stove with nothing on it for the entire evening.

My landlady and I were worried it was something else that was on fire, thankfully everything was ok, and once we got that pot off the stove we just had to open a window.

Sloww what the $#%& was that pan made out of? Plastic? Serves you right for using a plastic pan.

There's no way a metal pan melted, that would take like 1500°F or so

Probably aluminium - I don't think it melted, just became a bit soft.

I remember when microwaves first came out. I tried cooking chicken in it. But it wouldn't brown, and it wouldn't brown, and it would brown now matter how long I microwaved it.

That was the day I invented chicken jerky.

                              ok so i did this.

                              i used two eggs.

i put the first one in and set the time to one minute so i could see how long it took. after 41 seconds it popped. the door didnt fly open tho. i opened the microwave door and it popped once more. the contents of egg were all over the inside. the whole-ish part of the egg looked sofboiled.

then i put it aside and put egg number 2 in.

after 29 seconds, it popped quietly. i opened the microwave to see that a few very large cracks with egg white seeping out. i took the edible part of the egg out of the shell and felt the yolk. it had a pretty normal looking yolk like when you first crack it open. but it felt firm. so i cut it open. when i cut it, it popped and startled me. the inside looked how it would if the egg was hard-boiled.

then i cleaned up the microwave.

                              that was fun
