Wowwwww.... that was a fun episode. Though the next episode looks like it may possibly be the best episode yet... what they are all trying to prevent.
I wonder what Linderman actually meant by nuking NYC being "for the best" because people will come together through fear. Some obvious parallels to 9/11, of course.
Spoiler:
And Linderman is a hero! So is, it seems, Angela Petrelli, but her power hasn't been revealed.
Jessica is going to be pisssssed. I do wonder what Micah's role will be, however.
A great jailbreak. HRG with some great instructions and making Ted learn how to EMP his way out of trouble.
Sylar vs. Peter was great fun (Mohinder knocking out Sylar in the end), but I'd imagine that someone before Claire would check to see what exactly caused his death?
And now Mohinder is working for the Company? He gets beguiled by EVERYONE!

Admittedly, Lost's flashbacks have gotten more plot-relevant in Season 3. Many tie into the plot more now.
Yup
but thats mainly because a lot of them are Fashbacks related to the Others and some of them are flaskbacks to syuff that happened SINCE the plane crashed on the island

I have no idea what Issac was talking about.
That's the point . Though I'm betting that the scrapbook he gave to the messenger has what is needed to kill Sylar.

We've seen Sylar take a few bullets and get up moments later; why exactly does he need Claire's power, since it appears he's already got it?
Who said he "needed" Claire's power? I know he seems to kill everyone he sees and take their powers but maybe thats just an insane jealousy type thing-- He might have picked up a similar power elsewhere-- I just don't think it would stop him from killing her and "taking" her power too.

And if Peter absorbed telekinesis from Sylar, does that mean he absorbed all of Sylar's pilfered powers?
ahh -- was there a sign that he had picked up the telekinesis-- Even though I record Heros I missed a few moments here and there to deal with my children. I may have to rewatch that episode ( edit or do you just mean where he threw Sylar off??)
More generally I haven't totally understood what he needed to do to acquire a power. It seemed contact with someone was enough-- But with a Sylar, I don't know if he gets all the powers or JUST the powers that Sylar was using at the moment
I also wondered if Sylar NEEDED to kill his victims to acquire their power or if he just does it because he doesn't want other super-beings bugging him

I was trying to figure out how Peter survived given that it's been established that he doesn't absorb powers, he only mimics them, and only with a conscious effort. I assume that would be difficult to do after you're dead.
But I've started treating Heroes kind of like Dan Simmons' books; decent story if you ignore the giant continuity elephant in the room.

Nono, they thought he only did that, but he learned how to control them a couple of episodes back.

Invisible dude showed him that he is able to absorb their powers, not just mimic those around him. It seemed, with his comments around Clair's dad's organization that this isn't the first time he's seen that... Which might suggest that Syler has the same power and just thinks that he needs to kill them, when he doesn't.
