No, it's an epic plot line. The pieces fit together, more so each episode, and the plot line progresses to a foreshadowed by event/showdown.

        You won't regret it.

          I agree with Asher's description

The biggest difference seems to be that Lost seems to rely more on the twists and mystery than Heros. At this stage we pretty much know the role and side of most of the characters of Heros. Thats not to suggest that they are unidimensional .

Lost, although on for longer, still has much unrevealed. heck we still are pretty much in the dark as to what the heck the "Others" are all about.

I like both shows but like Heros more. Yes it is about superheros but it is clever and not at all immature

Where Lost seems often incapable of advancing the plot in any meaningful way, Heroes juggles about 6 plotlines and plunges forward headlong. Much more entertaining, much less pretense.

Really liked the first episode . Will keep watching this, I wonder how they keep the storylines interesting.

              A very solid premiere

Despite living in an, as Asher puts it, third-world country, I can acquire an episode in only a few minutes. Got to have some signs of civilization . BTW, was surprised that Hero has longer eps than most shows. Or at least the first one was.

Also Lost kills a lot of time with the flashbacks-- While they do assist in understanding the characters a little bit better, many of them do not advance the present day plot even one little bit

Admittedly, Lost's flashbacks have gotten more plot-relevant in Season 3. Many tie into the plot more now.

                            Yes, but Heroes is gay.

They have a gay character! yay!
