The Lebanese government is not strong enough to challenge Hezbollah without tipping the country into yet another long and protracted civil war. Just because Hezbollah is on Lebanese turf doesn't mean they are responsible for them - that's a bit like saying the US was directly responsible for the IRA because of their massive fundraising campaigns etc...
If US politicians and military officials participated in IRA funding and training then HELL YEAH, they're responsible

Which has what to do with your original post ?

I've seen and heard the Jews=Nazis, Israel=Nazis thing too often, however 'well-intentioned' or done in the guise of a troll.

I haven't said the Lebanese government or the Lebanese people are 'responsible' for Hezbollah- although the Lebanese Muslims who are part of Hezbollah are presumably responsible for their own actions.

So in that regard, your introduction is irrelevant and correcting something I haven't stated.

Ned's style of argument is clearly infectious.

Again, irrelevant and not something I've argued. I'm quite happy to lay blame where it belongs- at members of the Irish American community who fund raise for the terrorist groups and American politicians who treat terrorists as politicals rather than criminals.

Plenty actually. I have already pointed them out to you.
They must be in very small print or invisible ink.

The point of guerilla warfare and terrorism is not to engage standing armies in open warfare on battlefields. Michael Collins knew this, the Spanish guerillas in the Peninsula War knew this.

Sorry, haven't a clue what you're talking about.
Well originally your use of the North American 'asses' instead of the British English 'arse', but I'd say this also now applies to your understanding of my post with regard the supposedly 'peaceful' state of Lebanon and how armies are defeated in the field.

The only obsession round here is your delusion that Israel actually 'won' against Hezbollah...
And where did I say this ?

Really, refrain from the Ned approach to reading into posts what isn't there and never has been.
