Looking over at CFC, those people is taking this waaaaay too serious.

Most CFC CIV players are not briliant players. There are some good players, but when it comes down to it they suck in demogames, and they have no MP players that aren't ladder players.

Poly, or rather the people of Poly don't actually get anything out of the deal. Neither do the people from CFC. The people who pay for the bandwidth and servers might save a bit, but that's all.

Merging is bad for democracy, but if it gives us more n00bs to pwn in the OTF then I'm for it.

The difference is CFC has a lot of new players. The type that recently got the game and are struggling on Warlord. Apolyton has veteran, season players - between people like you, Aeson, Dominae and Ming of course it seems that we have more good players.

We get the biggest Civ4 mod and modding resource database on the Web. Something which our site currently seriously lacks.

I'm sure the "pwn all n00bs!" attitude really helped us gain many active posters here in the last year or two
