If it's not a joke, then I hope for the merger. It's a much better idea to join forces at this point of time.

It is also a good idea to start with a new domain and new website design, however, "CivJunction" is a really bad name and again if this is not a joke, I propose a new domain name, one that is voted amongst its thousands of members.

You also have access to lots of excellent designers and programmers who can help build a very powerful and nice looking website, don't get me wrong, the new design is nice, but there are a number of issues with it and some of the design is ameteurish.

A lot of people on CivFan are complaining about using the Poly skin; which is not going to happen since there is a new website with a new design.

A lot of people on both sites are also complaining about having to pay for certain services, I don't think that's going to happen either, things will generally remain the same, just a new design and the community will be combined into one.

It's not that terrible an idea.
