I dont need reviews to know what I said either. That's the main problems with electric cars.

I didn't say it doesn't drive great, I dont see how an electric power train can be useful like a hydrogen engine.

It doesn't cost more fuel to run accessories on a gas/hydrogen car ( other than the A/C), the alternator supplies the juice.

Imagine an A/C on an electric car

      You do not know this.

Also, if you use accesories (wipers, heater, defroster, radio), you lose mileage...So its a sure no no for northern countries.
You don't know that this isn't already factored in.

And the sound of an electric motor is boring compared the combustion engines.
You have never heard the sound from an electric sports car.

You got nothin'. Just another prejudiced consumer.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. The're never included. Just like regular advertisment for gas cars. They never list the gas consumption with A/C for example...Or during which season, which changes the consumption.... They always tell you what the cars drinks in fall, the season where it consumes the less. which you probably didn't know.

You have never heard the sound from an electric sports car.
Hell yea. Dude, and I have prejudice? Do you even know how many sound/wave of different cars I have on my pC at home? I probably have like 10 from electric cars. I even have Solar car sounds, alright?

You don't know that they weren't included here. That's a fact. Just because most of the gasoline car makers are liars, doesn't mean Tesla is one.

But you don't have the sound of the Tesla's motor. Am I right? I think so.

And you call yourself a sportscar lover.

You can beat an electric car, otherwise, you pull out the juice to fast. Its easy to fix your problem when you run out of gas, you call a tow truck and it brings you gas. What do you call with an electric engine?

You don't know that they weren't included here. That's a fact. Just because most of the gasoline car makers don't tell the truth, doesn't mean Tesla isn't telling the truth either.
Do you know that they did? Why would it be different? An advertising company is, after all, ana dvertisment company. They are trying to sell you the car man. Otherwise, they would have said WITH ALL ACCESSORIES AT ON POSITION. That would have been a great sales pitch.

But you don't have the sound of the Tesla's motor. Am I right? I think so.
Why should it sound any different? An electric engine is an electric engine. Magnets do not make that whole lot of a different sound. And if out of all electric engine sounds I heard, why would I like this particular one if I never liked any of the ones I heard anyhow?

And you call yourself a sportscar lover.
I dont hate the car, I hate the engine. Theres a difference.
Dont try to twist this any any other way that it really is.

Maybe it could play an MP3 of an internal combustion engine.

Or even better, switch to HYDROGEN!

I heard many of those, and they sound pretty much the same, with a bit more ''treble''

Every freakin car on the planet can be switched to hydrogen...

That's incorrect. That is the header directly from Tesla's web site. No way was that farmed to a know-nothing ad team.

The Tesla uses a brushless AC induction motor. This is a little different than other electric cars, as I understand.

                  Any how would you know?
If you were a real sportscar lover, you would be interested in trying something new.

If you want Japanese then the only real sports cars offered these days are the Z350 or the RX-8. My room mate owns an RX-8 and I loved driving it plus the RX-8 looks better then the big bar of soap look the Z has.

Dude, can you just accept the fact that I hate electric engines based on everything I seen so far, which is probably 1000times more than you I presume. And spending millions in research to make an electric engine is crazy when we already know that every car out there can be converted to hydrogen.

Fvck electric engines. They are limited in many many ways, and we already have 100 years of evolution on the piston engine. Lets stick with pistons.

DanS, how many years do you think it'll take before we can pull out 500hp out of a drivable electric engine for everyone to buy? I dont see it happening in my life time.

With piston engines converted, we could do it now.

And I'm not a ports car lover btw, I love cars all around.

                        I'm the real deal.

But you don't know as much as you think you do. And apparently, much of what you "know" just ain't so.

How much did Tesla spend on R&D for the motor?

We're not talking about a bloated car company here.

Between you and me, who do you think knows more about what he's talking about? You're like a patriot for that car, and I dont care about the make or model, its the engine I am talking about.

I'd love to be right next to you right now and ask you to name me 5 electric cars, just to be sure you dont google them..

Again, I dont care, may it be the telsa or what ever, I dont like electric engines. They have been around for over 15 years now in commercial cars, and I am not going to change my mind. Stick with piston engines converted to hydrogen.

And yet, you seem to stay away from that point since the start of this conversation.

There is no logical reason to do otherwise.
