Teachers and instructors are generally useless; in highschool especially. Your otherwise pointless lives are given meaning by society's infatuation with edcuation through lecture. The fact is you're not really needed, and simply learning from the text book would be far faster and more efficient.

I know. When I did this course, the first time I saw the professor was during the final exam. The total sum of lecture hours which I attended in the last two years is lower than 20. Still, most people just can't learn from a textbook. You need skills for that, and most don't have those skills.

Anyway, the second and third hours(same material, different groups) were really good. The head TA attended the last hour and said I was great.

Just assume that they are idiots and everything will be okay.

I just had to mark a paper from a student who didn't catch that if you have x volume being transferred in one minute, then you multiply that amount by 60 to work out that transfer per hour, rather than dividing. Foo'.

She was an idiot. She talked like she was talking to a bunch of second graders. She would mark down a half an absence for every time you were 10min "tardy." She would sit up there and literally read to us excerpts from the book and then refer to it as, "the author of your text states that..." On top of it she would inject her left wing idiocy into the class and it wasn't up for discussion. She needed to be put in her place.

Sounds like one of my history profs last term. Gave me two C- in her classes and 40 percent of our total grade was participation.

It was pathetic. I learned more in my highschool history classes then I did in these 4th year discussion classes. She was the same way about tardies and absences, and it was funny because one day one of the other students asked her, why do we need you? We are teaching ourselves the material.

She was disgusted and walked out on the class after the prof started bullying her.

The fact is college isn't even needed. The first two years are just total bull**** wastes of time. It's nothing more than a scam and corporations and **** have decided that college education somehow makes people magically more suited to working for them. Apparently they don't realize that you don't learn anything in college except that college is pointless and a massive beaurocracy. It's the greatest scam of all time.

Corporations want to know if you are going to do what you are told and not fight with people who are put in a position over you. If any of them find out how you are behaving in school you wont be working for them.
