Why has CivFanatics overtaken Apolyton in members?

Nah, we do have people post 03. A good amount of prolific 2004 members. It's the 2005, 2006 and 2007 active members that we have few of.

Well, there has always been a gap between joining date and OT membership. People generally discover the OT after getting tired of talking about the game that made them register, so it takes a while.

However, on the few people who registered for civ4 who came in the OT, I think we effectively scared them off. Except maybe LardShive.

I like this forum from time to time, the laxness of moderation and oft-funny threads (sexual themed stuff doesn't last long on CFC sadly) is an enjoyable break.

You just got to ban this Perfection cat then who knows, maybe I'll switch for good.

I do like the black/orange theme but y'all should really switch to a better version of vBulliten, I mean seriously you guys really like this ****?

This BB is good enough imho.
A BB shouldn't be too fancy, it must be easy, not too much stuff that distracts me from the most important stuff: the text.

THe CFC forum lay out is horrible. Every forum post shows it's own table, there's a space between all posts. Not to mention that the colors are very hard, most obviously the orange, and why is the less-important stuff colored orange? It doesn't read very smoothly that way.

Having said that, the CFC forum is hands down much better then many other new type of forums, that have icons and stuff all over the posts. Every icon has it's own meaning, and there are huge images in the signatures as well. Not to mention that some signatures are that long that you are reading the wrong stuff in every thread all the time.

The Poly forum is easy, simple, and does it's job very well! I'd say, don't change it.
