Why has CivFanatics overtaken Apolyton in members?

WTF is Civ4players?

It's a ****ty little ladder that they run through Cases ladder. Canucksoldier is a perfect example of why Civilization 4 sucks and how the "ladder" has made the problem even worse. It's not all that active, there's not even duels on it anymore.

ON the topic of the ladder, it is pretty much the only place you'll be able to get a game without people leaving all of the time.

Most of the players are OK-ish, but not brilliant. There are a couple of really good players spread across a few clans.

If you visit the links in my signature, you will find that outside the SP world of Apolyton that there is a thriving MP community of 1000 players on average. And if you visit the WL's GS lobby you will find us there 365 days a year playing this great game against other humans. MP is not for everyone ofcourse but for those of us that enjoy playing other people in real time, it is very enjoyable.

Ah yes, my old "friend" from my Civ2 days that didn't like it that we didn't bow down to him in Civ4land.....enough said, I'll not grace him with any more of my time.

They aren't accusations... Drixnak is EON. If you will note, all of EON's past log ons are restricted so that he can post as Drixnak. It's very possible he will be going back to his EON handle shortly.
