Did you mean some other OT? Something that maybe has some relationship to the Hebrew bible?

There is a story in the Hebrew scriptures where God entertained the questions of a bunch of whiners. That's the only answer He's going to give.

      • It's interesting to see the attacks I get from being disparaging of Christians. Even some people like Kuci jump on the bandwagon to try and get a dig in. Pathetic. You're not a very thick skinned bunch, are you?

God is also not willing to "SHOW OFF" by saying "i healed an amputee! Look how great i am!" He works be fate. by messages... and by sheer willpower and seemingly "lucky" circumstances if you will. He gives you warm feelings and comforts your soul when in distress. He is a wonderful and loving God... and i will fight to defend him or whatever else i must do. This is VERY serious to me, and the fact that that guy was working hard to "convince" me not to believe in my God is sad. He obviously has NO faith but since he is so damn smart i say to each his own. I dont need anyone to tell me otherwise... because like i said... unless you are in THIS club, you will have a hard time of it sooner or later. Sorry to put it so bluntly but thats the truth...

Yeah, whatever...it is because of this kind of nonsense why I am disparaging of religion...

          • I actually started that bandwagon, PH. I made the first personal attack on you in this thread

To be precise, I'm not attacking you for disparaging Christians. I'm attacking you for being a tool

And kindly do not quote any more AAZH posts.

              • It should be fairly obvious by now that I spend as much time weeding out the idiots on my own side as arguing with the smart people on the other. (The idiots on the other side I mostly don't bother with, because they help my case more than they hurt it.)

                • Perhaps you should look a bit closer to home then Kuci?

                    • Well OK, it is not one of the more interesting arguments I have seen but it is still one of many assaults on the integrity of religion on the whole - the whole theism thing has more holes in it than a swiss cheese.

But they were not satisfactorily answered were they? We can make similar stories for any fictitious being - tooth fairies, pink unicorns, noodly monsters, you take your pick...
