covertly???? Pasha Glubb and all that. I thought this was taken for granted.

Funny also how the US is viewed more negatively than NK...

Still, maybe countries like Iran and NK can be forgiven for seeking nukes in the face of nations like the US and Israel who regularly attack countries that haven't attacked them...
Haven't you got tired of the taste of arab dick yet?

Funny, I drop by here for the first time in a couple of months, and a mobytroll is the top thread on page 1. Some things never change.

Surely the common perception is that Israel is the creation of Western colonialism, with Britain at the helm.

Working too much. Did a biopharmaceutical gig for a while, but got heartily sick of half the day being meetings, prep for meetings, or "results" (using the term in the broadest sense) of meetings. So back to the energy biz.

Now I've got a bit of slack time (like a few hours) to kill before getting info to finish off a proposal and fly off to New York next week. (upstate, not NYC).

Got my Sox tix for when they're here in SD.

What's been going on with everyone/thing in polyville?

Management changes, for one thing. Postcount back for the OT. Otherwise, things are the same (as you noted ).

The other top thread, you will find, is essentially a cap/com thread.

well among people who arent too close to the events of 1945 - 1949, I guess.

For my part, I've decided to petition Governor Goodhair to redirect fencing efforts away from the border with Mexico, and instead build a high wall around Wales.

Heh, so apparently you've forgiven Theo? Cog in the machine, baby. The Nation has become somewhat Imperialistic of late

This should be a fun season. Both teams are loaded with talent again.

It's unfortunate that many more incidents like this have occurred but have yet to be fully researched.

But lets not confuse the history of Israel-Palestine.

And those other Palestinians who fled out of fear... well, they don't deserve their land back, right? After all, they didn't stick around to get butchered. It's their own fault they left their homes, right?

Again... I'm not making a moral judgment... I'm trying to understand how you justify it in your own mind. Explain it to me.

I opposed the NATO attacks on Serbia in 1999 as well as the bullying of FYROM by the US/EU in 2001. In both cases I felt that the West was unwisely supporting terrorism.

I believe that both Serbia and Israel have been on the wrong end of propaganda wars which crudely over-simplify extremely complex historical problems. I'm not saying either country has been 100% angelic, but I do believe the point-of-view of both countries has been understated, if properly stated at all in some quarters.
Then I praise you for being consistent.

Thank you for making your position clear.
