Just who is stupid enough to even consider buying a house that for the last 17 years has been used by anarchists, communists and hippies?

        No one!

They are evil cultists! These are really deeply evil and malevolent people. They just want to bully the youth.

Well you haven't attended one of their church services then I'm sure. Look, why do you think there were no other serious buyers. Yeah, real sophisticated investors here.

Now I don't care much for polling, but since it was an issue before, here goes (percentage numbers are in the plural, right?):

70% of people asked found that tearing down the house was a good decision, only 16% were against.

For no peaceful solution being accomplished prior to the riots, 58% blame the activists and 23% the city council.

61% don't want another youth house in Copenhagen.

92% found the police had handled the situation well or very well.

Well, power to the people, I tell ya.

              Poll conducted by Megafon.

                Why, do they have cooties?

You seem to have a lower opinion of those groups of people than I do. Granted the reaction in Denmark seems to bear out your opinion that the groups are little better than thugs.

Patience is a great virtue. Sit there and let the police arrest you up until they give you the new one they built for themselves.

And remember, this protest, if properly marketed, would have drawn the attention of like-minded people from all over Europe and even some other places. They'd have had no shortage of people willing to go there just to protest. It would have acted as a magnet. And as I said, they should have done this four months ago. It'd have become a saga by now.

The Gandhi method wouldnt have worked because people were fighting for a physical space that can actually be destroyed. Gandhis method prevailed because noone could break the spirit of the people, noone could destroy the will and determination of the Indians.
